Dining

The Aylesbury Grammar School Dining Hall offers varied and nutritious food in all our menus, providing all our students with the opportunity to eat balanced meals daily in order to support them in their busy academic, extra-curricular and social lives. Our Dining Hall operates using a cashless system (ParentPay) which allows large numbers of students to buy the food they need smoothly and quickly, leaving enough time to eat and enjoy their meal. Parents can use the same system to keep track of what their sons are eating during the day and plan meals at home accordingly.

BREAK - served from 11.10am - 11.30am
LUNCH - served from 1.40pm - 2.30pm

All our menus include varied choice of hot and cold food so students can tailor their individual needs to their own specific circumstances. Breakfast is particularly popular for students who travel the longer distances to school and need to supplement an extremely early breakfast at home. At Break, many students eat their main meal of the day as they may well be involved in a lunchtime club or society meaning they will only usually have enough time to grab something ‘on the go’.

The lunch menu cycle follows the fortnightly school timetable (Week A/B cycle) and in addition to the set menu we offer daily specials which change weekly. Occasionally menus may change due to availability of produce.
