GCSE

GCSE

The curriculum remains broad in Key Stage 4.

All students study at least 11 GCSEs. All are required to study a modern language and separate sciences. Many students choose to take creative subjects (such as Art, Music, Drama or Engineering) with the majority entered and achieving the English Baccalaureate.

A wide range of subject options enable new subjects to be studied in Years 10 and 11 for GCSE examinations. These include: Ancient History, Business, Physical Education, Food Preparation & Nutrition and Geology.

Highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic teachers are successful in creating a classroom environment where students enjoy learning and are eager to achieve.
