“The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library.”
The Professor William Mead Library is located in the heart of the school and provides a safe environment for your child to read and extend their learning during term-time.
We have a well-stocked library with an excellent selection of both fiction and non-fiction resources to promote reading for pleasure and to help with schoolwork and independent learning. We also have Chromebooks which students can use.
Students can use the Library before school, during break, lunchtime and after school for study, research and reading.
In addition, we also offer many complementary and social activities throughout the year.
Reading Lists
Suggested reading lists are available for all year groups to help students choose books. All lists are updated every year.
The Professor William Mead Library also offers several other complementary reading lists throughout the year to promote various events throughout the year such as Anti-Bullying Week, Black History Month and Mental Health Awareness Week.
